Endowment Fund
In 2005 GDC began the College Support Endowment to create a permanent source of funding for GDC's College Support Program. GDC's first Legacy Donors include:
Don and Marion Hall, Founders of the College Support Endowment, established an individual endowment fund under their family name with a generous cash donation.
Kevin Long, founder of GDC, he has named GDC In his will and has earmarked a percentage of his retirement account for GDC's endowment.
Teilen Volger-Knopp, GDC board member. Has donated a personal fund within the College Support Endowment and has asked friends and relatives to contribute.
Berk-Tel Communications, Corporate donor. Established a corporate fund that employees can donate to on an annual basis.
Establish your personal fund within the College Support Endowment with a donation of $1,000 or more. Donate cash or stock, make GDC a beneficiary on your retirement plan, or name GDC in your will. Contact GDC's CEO at travel@deafconnection.org for more information.
Thanks to all of GDC's College Support Endowment donors! Momentum is growing to begin using interest income for college scholarships in 2009.
