DEAF AWARENESS WALK 2006

GOAL OF THE WALK:
The GDC Deaf Awareness Walk is a way to fundraise for your school/nonprofit and promote National Deaf Awareness Week!

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Establish or join a GDC Deaf Awareness Walk in your area.
  • Create your own web page including a picture and the reason you are walking.
  • Email your friends, colleagues and family to ask them to sponsor you through your web page.
  • GDC will track the donations you collected, mail thank you receipts to your donors, and then send a check to your school or organization.

    Sign-up your Deaf organization or Deaf school - Have your non-profit join the walk by completing Organization Application form. Just e-mail Global Deaf Connection at travel@deafconnection.org and request the form.
